Fishing has been great the past two months. As we approach a new year we are also approaching my favorite time of year for bass fishing, the spawn. Like last year, I will be catching some trophy fish. The weather is a little warmer than average so if there are no signifacant changes I would expect to see some fish moving onto some beds within the next 30 days. I have been catching some large bass with belly's full of eggs in prespawn areas all month long. I haven't seen any beds yet but again I expect to very soon. I am extremely excited to the start of 2010 and look forward to all the trips I have booked so far. |
