Unfortunately the disease I have battled for my entire life has won a major battle. Cystic Fibrosis causes multiple issues but the main issue is the damage it does to the lungs. My lungs are so scared from infections my lung function has dropped to 21%. For the last several months I have been on oxygen full time and not able to do any charters. During this time I have been testing and seeing specialists at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL for a double lung transplant. This is my only shot at staying alive, so this surgery is the biggest moment in my life. Currently I am at the top of the transplant list for my blood type. This means at any moment I could get called to report to the hospital. This is a major operation especially with my medical history and other complications CF has caused. If the surgery goes perfect I could be out of the hospital in two weeks, and back home in Orlando a few months later. It would be a minimum of 6 months post transplant before I can get back on the water. I will be updating my blog about my status, the link is below. Welcome to Orlando Trophy Bass !!! I am Capt Kevin Przybyl owner, USGA licensed and insured Captain
in the Orlando area. Currently my service provides 4
hour(NON-SMOKING) bass fishing charters on a 700 acre limited access lake located minutes from all the major Orlando Attractions.
Having previously worked as a fishing guide for Walt Disney
World, I learned the importance of providing a fun and memorable
fishing experience. Making sure you have fun and providing
the best possible experience is my priority. Being the only charter on this lake gives my clients a very private experience. I have excusively been fishing this lake for the past three years so all the photos and video on this site are of fish caught on this lake. I provide you
with a high quality fishing trip with the proper rods,
reels, and baits to land that trophy bass. I encourage
those that have their own equipment to bring it along because
being comfortable and focused helps you catch more fish.
I love to fish and spend every second I can, on the water,
with fishing pole in hand!
Fishing is not only a passion of mine, but a way to help
find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis--a deadly genetic disease
that I was born with. I established this business to raise
awareness and money to fight Cystic Fibrosis. In 2010, I created the Kevin A Przybyl Breathe Easy Foundation this 501c3 foundation provides financial assistance to patients with Cystic Fibrosis. My foundation is run 100% by volunteers, no one including myself collects a salary from the foundation, this allows us to give nearly every cent to patients. As of December 2011 the foundation is providing financial assistance to 3 patients each month for nutrition or medication, and completed a remodel of 2 patient rooms at Florida's Winter Park Hospital for the Adult CF patients. We hope with additional funding we can provide more assistance to more patients.
